Lakeside Veterinary Surgery is an independent veterinary practice, based in Swansea and opened in September 2011 by Andrew Burgess MRCVS.
We are based in the old DVLA Driver Test Centre on the Swansea Enterprise Park, with easy access from the M4 and all areas of Swansea (SA1, SA4, SA5, SA6, SA7, SA8, SA12 and SA18).
Lakeside as a practice, aims to offer personalized care with the benefit of continuity enabling you to always see the same veterinary surgeon. We have recently been awarded a Silver Standard by International Cat Care, for being a cat friendly practice. We are now one of two practices in the area to qualify.
Currently Lakeside is staffed by one vet (Andrew Burgess BSc Hons, BVSC (1993) MRCVS), one qualified Veterinary Nurse (Katrina Roberts), an animal care assistant-receptionist (Lisa Evans) and a Student Nurse Niamh Archbold.
We offer free nurse clinics that include weight checks, nail clipping and dental checks. We also offer a Pet Health Club that is designed to help you save money on preventative healthcare that includes vaccinations, deworming and flea treatments. In addition, as a member you will get 15% discount on procedures such as neutering, dentals etc and 10% off food, and 15% off medications.
