Katrina Roberts

Kat began her nursing career soon after leaving school, then qualified in 2004. She has worked in both mixed and small animal practice. Kat has returned back to Lakeside Vets 2023, after a decade away pursuing other opportunities, including orthopaedic and spinal referral nursing, clinical coaching for Student RVN's and practice supervisor roles. Kat is passionate in all arears of her role, and has a special interest in feline handling and behaviour, wound management/dressings, and surgical nursing. To date Kat’s career spans 25 years.

Kat has had pet cats all her life. Kat currently has 2 cats called Kali and Dice. She enjoys being outdoors in nature, and her other interests are photography, dancing, camping, cooking plant-based food, crystal healing, Reiki healing, fire arts and poi spinning. She is passionate about environmentalism and the harm being caused by deforestation for palm oil. In the past Kat has abseiled Dulais Rock to Raise money for Nico’s Legacy, and walked over hot coals to raise money for Cats Protection. She would like to travel abroad in the future to volunteer to work with animal charities
